Representatives of the LIFE project "Endangered species and habitats protection of the Natura 2000 “Ostoja Wigierska” site" visited Estonia.

The implementers of the LIFE project were interested about the experience and results of the restoration of the riverine habitats also. We visited the Alam-Pedja Natura 2000 area and project sites of LIFE Happyfish and Happyriver projects during the meeting with polish colleagues. The guests were impressed about the flooded River Emajõgi floodplain and restored Laeva river. Mutual cooperation in future was also discussed.
