We studied the migration of the vimba bream on the River Pärnu. The results of the study are published in a scientific article called:
Effects of a dispersal barrier on freshwater migration of the
vimba bream (Vimba vimba).

During everyday work in Wildlife Estonia we experience really interesting aspects about fish biology. Now we can share a part of it with you thanks to freshly published article about vimba bream. This species can show the masterclass of migration complexity because its special features: semi-anadromous species with portional and only litophilous spawning.
