Preparations for the restoration
The last preparations for the habitat restoration work at Viidumäe, are done. One large scale work will be closing the ditches. For that purpose wegetation from the bank will be removed before the excavating can start. The smaller ditches will be cleaned by the manual work, the largest area will be cut with special forestry machinery. The work is expected to start in August. |

NGO Wildlife Estonia is established in 2000. Our aim is to protect rivers and other aquatic habitats. We care about the nature, biodiversity and fish in particular.
